New Troops and how to attack DF Level 1-7AETHERSTONE: The Aether is largely insubstantial but there are pockets of dust and some large ‘islands’ of stone that can be mined for their unusual properties. Aetherstone can be worked to produce a sort of non-ferrous metal greenish in color, with odd refractive qualities and a slightly misty, insubstantial texture. Aetherstone has a base defense of 8 and weapons made from this affect desolidified creatures. They also act as transdimensional to strike creatures in other dimensions, assuming they can be perceived, reached, and targeted. Aetherstone armor is hardened vs indirect attacks, prevents teleport vs others and desolid vs others from working, and grants affects desolid to the wearer and his hand to hand attacks. Aetherstone ore requires Spellsmithing to work.
Spellsmithing will be a research that will be added to the Alchemy lab or possibly a new type of lab with several different researches to attain spellsmithing speeds and abilities.
Subject: Aetherstone
Shortly we will be gaining a resource called aetherstone from Dark Forests. These will be necessary to build new troop types: Skeleton Archers, Kerns, and Man at Arms.
This resource can only be found on dark forests on each victory:
Level 1 - 1000 aetherstone
Level 2 - 2000 aetherstone
Level 3 - 4,000 aetherstone
Level 4 - 8,000 aetherstone
Level 5 - 16,000 aetherstone
Level 6 - 32,000 aetherstone
Level 7 - 64,000 aetherstone
Kablam has put a cap on the amount of aetherstone you can have of 1 million.

Important:
Be sure to scout the dark forests before attacking them.
You may noticed that the # of defenders in DFs tend to change and not remain the same or even the same types of troops on the same lvls of wilds.
This is why it is necessary to scout each one you are planing on attacking.
