Welcome New Visitors!

I’m sure if you’re from my ship and reading this, it’s partly because you want to see if I wrote something about you. I don’t know how this rumor that I’m using this as a means of broadcasting everyone’s business got started, but I assure you it isn’t true. I welcome any new visitor, but please don’t worry about me naming people who I may have seen loitering around the massage parlors, or chatting up the buy-me-drink girls…even though upstanding Sailors like ourselves would never do such things. While you’re here, why not make yourself useful and check out some of these programs that benefit veterans:

  • Pin-Ups For Vets - Want to help out wounded veterans, but don’t want to be seen as a sensitive charity-giving sissy? Then throw $20 at 12 months of a hot chick in various classic pin-up poses. The Sailor pose is very lacking, and I’ve already addressed this with Gina, the woman who started the project. She agreed to do something more for the squids next time around. The site is work-safe.
  • Homes For Our Troops - I know everyone who has TSP is going to eventually own a huge mansion, but in the mean time take a break living from paycheck to paycheck and throw a few dollars to this good cause that gives specially built homes to disabled troops. Besides, that by-me-drink bar girl isn’t going anywhere.
  • Veteran’s Business Training Center - Have a few minutes away from your University of Phoenix online Neuroscience and Endocrinology classes? Then give some well deserving wounded vets assistance by donating to VBTC. Sponsored by the Military Order of the Purple Heart, this program gives wounded vets distance learning to find work in emerging online/VoIP careers.

    Hey :D
You know, I think there is something up with your new aim name/list because I have had you on my list for like over a year now under that name and I have NEVER seen it online, and I’ve double checked a million times including this morning after I read your msg and it’s the right name and you aren’t blocked….

Spooky, I miss you. :( haha. This was the only place I could find to post a comment. Also your coding is a little screwy in the secret place for when we’re out to sea. :d It definitely helps me out…

Also we go on cruise here in April and might be making a stop in Japan. I don’t think I’ve known anyone to be stationed in so many places in such a short amount of time.

Anyways, I’ll hit you up shortly. I miss the good ol’ days… *sigh*

    Hey Mike,

I’ve been on leave for the past week and I’ve been avoiding the site for a few days. Today I plan on upgrading WordPress, which should hopefully fix the stupid bug I just found out my site has in IE. I wonder how many potential visitors I threw away with that little gem. I’m also going to see about fixing the problem with that “secret place.” I think it’s an encoding issue, but hopefully it’ll be resolved today. We’ll have to coordinate and see if we can chill together when you pull in. I’ll take you to Roppongi and maybe we can get a unit SITREP out of it! :-D
