With all the working that’s been going on, I almost forgot today is my birthday. I’m 24 years old now. I don’t even want to think how I’m going to handle turning 25. Yikes. The Navy is doing the honor of giving me another full work day as my gift, so that ought to be fun. My girlfriend was so awesome and sent me a little happy birthday box. She really went geeky on me, which is so hot. She sent my new dell laptop hard drive, a 1GB U3 flash drive complete with portable application support, A 400GB MyBook external hard drive, the original Halloween on DVD, a Barnes & Nobel gift certificate and a sweet card that makes me smile every time I read it. I really don’t want anything but to go home for a little bit. I need to take some leave. I should have about 2 weeks worth in a couple months, so maybe I’ll take some at the beginning of the year and go home. Anyway, wish me happy birthday!

Posted 05 Sep 2006 at 2:24 pm ¶Actually I do have a little grey hair. I was getting one or two strands here and there. I figured it was from work. Then a few people at work were pointing out how I have a little pattern of grey at the top of my head. It’s nothing big, but something to think about. I’m such a girl that I immediately started freaking out. Then I realized I already had an awesome girl who loves me for the lame dude I am. I calmed down after that.
