I was surprised and disappointed when I saw google’s “christmas” doodles. Even Yahoo looked slightly more christmas-y.. although they didn’t actually say it that I could find. Damned political correctness.

On the other hand if its the former then why so lilly livered? makes me wanna pewk or change my search page. Do they think other peoples/nations whose religions seem a bit scarey or weird to outsiders are going to ditch their faith just because we in the west have ditched ours? forget about it! they all know that religion gives them more cohesion and strength in coping with life, especially in adversity.

I’m with Jem, google get yourselves turned on to Christmas or get turned off on our computer screens!
I may quit google…I am only one person but their

these mice on their logo’s.
Even if you don’t want to say MERRY CHRISTMAS..
how about HAPPY HOLIDAYS with some holly
or a present or something..come on..these corporations are run by these 20 somethings who have total disregard for faith or tradition.
I just emailed Google a complaint. You all should do the same (google in “contact google”, and then click on “business proposals”.) I suggested that they give the same attention to Christmas holidays as they do to other holidays, in the interest of fairness.

I think that the owners of google may be Jewish or Islamic.
I really fail to see why this bothers you all so much. Do you get offended when your neighbors don’t decorate to your satisfaction? How is Google any different than your neighbors? It’s not your website, and it seems to me that those associated with the military would understand that in America they have a right to decorate their website any way they want. Make your own website and Christmas it up your way. And what if the owners of Google are Jewish or Islamic? Does that make them bad? That line of thinking sounds like the Islamic extremists who are bent on eliminating all other religions, or maybe the Nazi’s who tried to eliminate anything different.
